Heather & Phil Wedding Day Countdown!
[waiting name="heather&phil"]
With the countdown on, and lots of things to research, choose, design and buy, you are safe in the knowledge your photography is sorted.
And not only sorted, but in the hands of me, who is an obsessive planner! Between now and your wedding I will speak with your venue for any specific details which may be of use to know.
I will visit your venue and see all the areas you will be using, plus have a look around the grounds and nearby areas for any photo opportunities you may like.
This page has some helpful info including a simple to-do list, but don’t worry about remembering yourself, I will contact you on the dates.
Between now and then, enjoy the planning, live the excitement, and be as self-indulgent as you want. Remember it is your day!
If you have any questions at any time, just drop me an email and I will be glad to help.

To-do
Pre wedding consultation – Anything from a month before your wedding we arrange for a catch up to run through the logistics and timings for your day. As the photographer I am at pretty much all parts of the day, so by me being totally aware of the plan, it can often help the day run even more smoothly. Plus by detailing any formal family shots at this point, it means that on the day itself we can rattle through them nice and efficiently, freeing up you and your guests time to have fun, and mine to get great photos of that fun!

- 6 month payment £500 due April 18th 2019
- Balance payment £495 due September 18th 2019

NOTE ; I am quite badly dyslexic, so If there are any inaccuracies on any coms or the content of this page, especially the spelling of names etc, please don't be too embarrassed to let me know as I will happily correct it for you.
Engagement Shoot – This is a great way to get some experience working with me prior to the day itself, making it one less unknown. Plus you get some pretty photos as well! We can do this at a place of significance to you both, or if you are short on ideas, I can make some suggestions. Your photos will appear on this page once completed, and will be in your finished pack alongside your wedding photos. These can be purchased for £195, you can see some examples here.

Tips & FAQ’s
Planning – It never hurts to run your days timeline ideas past me as things evolve. I can sometimes suggest the odd tweak for the time allocated to photos resulting in a good chunk of time saved.
Food – I don’t expect to be fed, but if a meal is available it is very gratefully received. I am vegetarian but have no other dietry requirements.
Suppliers – I know quite a few suppliers who I respect and love working with, I am happy to pass on contact details if needed.
Confetti – If you want an epic confetti shot, I recommend supplying your own for your guests to use, as people don’t tend to bring their own, and I get biodegradable paper as it hangs in the air beautifully. Also, please no single use plastic pop up launchers or individual single use plastic pouches. A nice basket looks great and is better for the environment.
Church Weddings – This tip is less pleasant to write. To put it politely, vicars and priests can be, challenging, at times. I am always on maximum charm offensive, and very respectful of the job they need to do. I just ask they are the same to me. Anything you can do to reassure them of this will only make your ceremony photos better, as I can then get the access I would like. Which in short, is at the front well behind the vicar (where church layout allows) for the brides entrance, then during the ceremony I will sneak to the back of the church for the rest of the ceremony. I will do this either via an external door if available, or wait for a hymn, and sneak through at that point. On more than one occasion Iv been told by a vicar on arrival that I’m not allowed to take any photos at all, which is obviously a disaster for the couple, so being sure of your vicars ground rules ahead of time is always worth doing.
